Community Service

Introducing Kingstowne Internal Medicine’s Community Service Team "K.I.M.'s Helping Hands."  Here at Kingstowne Internal Medicine we value our community and believe in community service. We are proud to sponsor community service projects for our patients to engage and to improve their own communities. With all the commotion in DC Metro, we have observed a disconnection between people in this area. As we serve individuals to create healthy communities we recognize the importance of reconnecting people to uplift those in need and expand our reach using the helping hands of others. We will be partnering with patients in community service projects throughout the year. We need your help to man our projects and make this a success. Please contact us if you are interested in participating. Our first community service project was volunteering for Alive! on January 25th, 2014.  The volunteers helped bag and distribute non-perishable foods and fresh produce to low-income families in Alexandria.
